Functions Filled:  He performs the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling of the selling, doing and administrative functions within the company. He conducts key customer and supplier interface as needed. He reviews/pursues the updating of the company’s employee benefit packages to have them as strong as possible. He sets the budget for the company and monitors the ongoing performance of IPS to the budget. He plans the capital investments/expansion of the business. He is responsible to obtain financing to support the growth of the business. He is the primary interface with the outside accounting, banking, insurance, and legal support professionals.

Background Experience:  IPS team member since 2008. Will has more than twenty years business experience with a company in an aligned industry. He has participated in the dramatic growth seeing doubling of sales volume in a short time span of the lumber/lumber yard business. He has participated in the building of a new facility and the relocation of the business to that new facility.

Educational & Personal Background:  Graduate of Mandeville high school and Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  Will took over management of the company after the passing of his father, John Ganley in 2008.  Will, his wife Kathy and their two children live in Baton Rouge.

 Team Member:  WILLIE ALFORD
 Title: 
Vice President

Functions Filled:  He has primary responsibility to oversee purchasing and develop new suppliers/manage relationship with ongoing suppliers. The estimating/quoting on major projects along with the setting up of blanket orders with key customers comes under his area. The developing of new customers together/problem solving ongoing key customers is an ongoing task. He is our internal thermal spray expert. He participates in solving critical equipment/facility problems. In the absence of the president he is the decision maker for the company.

Background Experience:  IPS team member since 1985. Willie has more than 35 years experience in our industry. He started his work career as an apprentice machinist upon completion of trade school. He has worked in shipyards and traditional machine/repair shops. He was a co-owner of a machine shop at one point in time. He joined IPS as an outside salesman. He spent many years in sales and then became involved in customer service and operation aspects of the business. He is the individual primarily responsible for the successful relocation of the business from Baton Rouge to Port Allen during 2000/2001. The actual doing of many functions within IPS is the experience required to fill his function.

Accounting Manager/Adminstrative Assistant


Functions Filled: She is the person who is responsible to maintain/monitor the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, job costing, and purchasing systems. She handles the initiating/updating of the personnel functions relating to the benefits and payroll of our people. The regulatory reporting tasks such sales taxes, 941’s, and 401k’s are handled by her. She monitors our business banking relationship = operating account, payroll account, and receivables lockbox. The maintaining of the company’s business software programs is a critical part of her job. The internal go to person when we have problems with our business software.

Background Experience:  IPS team member since 1979. The actual doing at different times during her career here at IPS is the experience required to fill the function.
