| Manual Machinist - Lathe Operator

Industrial Parts Specialties, L.L.C. is seeking Manual Machinist to add to the new parts production team. We are seeking individuals to fill this position on 1st shift (6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) and 2nd shift (2:30-11:30 p.m.). Excellent environment with competitive pay. $2.00 per hour pay premium for working 2nd shift.
Requirements -
-
Minimum of three years experience as a manual machinist

Capable of reading and interpreting shop drawings and prints
-
Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, scales, dial indicators, etc.

Must be proficient with machine shop equipment including manual lathes

Dynamic balancing a plus

Able to hold close tolerances and work efficiently

Experience with different types of metals including exotic, cutting speeds and feeds, turning, boring and threading

Straighten shafts
-
Must be able to physically stoop, bend, climb, and lift 50 lbs.

Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
